A patient who developed severe recession during orthodontic treatment — This patient developed sever recession during orthodontic treatment.

A patient’s gums three months after gum recession correction — This photo shows his gums 3 months after the graft. Notice the roots are completely covered. He can now complete his orthodontic work without risk of his recession getting worse.

Gum tissue after brace removal — This photo shows his gum tissue after his braces have been removed. This is about one year after the graft. Notice his gum tissue is stable.

Gum recession involving a front tooth — This is a case of gum recession involving a front tooth.

After a gum recession correction involving a front tooth — After giving him local anesthetic the grafting was done and he left with 2 small dissolvable sutures and some tissue glue to secure the graft. Again, minimal soreness was experienced after the graft.

Stable gum recession correction — Over time the tissue evened out. Looks very good and is stable.

Gum tissue looks thicker after a graft — This is how he looked a few months after the treatment. Notice the gum tissue looks thicker. We like the tissue to thicken up after grafting; thicker means more stable. This may be a little too thick from a cosmetic perspective however he was not concerned with it.
